This course includes in-depth residential and commercial foundation systems, roofing systems, construction and energy codes, detail millwork and cabinetry, and accessibility requirements. In addition, you will learn blueprint reading and estimating. Advanced framing methods using wood and light gauge steel. Steel beam construction. Types of exterior building finishes and glazing systems. Interior finish systems. Panelized construction and truss systems. Providing drawings to present for permitting. Managing your business. Contract and construction documents. Job coordination of trades and project management. Prerequisite: Construction Carpentry I.
