This is a hands-on cooking class for beginning and intermediate home cooks. We will practice basic cooking methods, knife skills, and develop new culinary techniques while creating classic comfort food dinners. Learn to roast and carve the perfect chicken, prepare risotto like a pro, and make macaroni and cheese Grandma would be proud of. Other dishes on the menu include lasagna bolognese, chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, and the French staple, beef bourguignon. We will be preparing proper side dishes and accompaniments for each of our meals.
